The Lake Eacham Van Park is a immense place to base yourself if you are interested in bird watching. The cooking and toilet and shower facilities were healthy maintained. I am a keen wildlife photographer and there was quite a lot of flowering plants around the park with many nectar seeking birds. Nearby is the pretty Lake Eacham, a terrific deposit for a swim and all around are amazing birds and beautiful flowers and the ancient trees of the rain forest. Management is perpetual lovely, advantageous and ready to yield great information on the surroundings. There is a immense variety of birds visiting the park for the nature enthusiasts. Helpful and sociable management ensured we had the superior place for our camper van, provided advice on a good itinerary taking trivial back roads and suggesting brilliant spots to terminate off on our way to our next destination. And local fresh produce. The grounds were lovely and next time we'll be booking ahead to stay for longer.
