Call us now and ask about our discount rates. There's an adventure around every corner on the Tablelands and we'll make sure you discover them all. No elaborate playgrounds or games rooms, just good, used fashioned hospitality, fresh country air and cheerful cabins. Fair a one km walk from the pristine waters of Lake Eacham, enjoy the natural beauty of 10 shady acres offered by this friendly country park. Share a desirable spot under the trees with the resident chickens. Formed by volcanic activity the lake is occupied with crystal definite rainwater. Receive a refreshing dip, or picnic on the grass overlooking the lake. Hike around the 3.5km lake walk with gorgeous rain forest and lake views. The Lake Eacham Van Park is a immense place to base yourself if you are interested in bird watching. The cooking and toilet and shower facilities were healthy maintained. I am a keen wildlife photographer and there was quite a lot of flowering plants around the park with many nectar seeking birds. Nearby is the pretty Lake Eacham, a terrific deposit for a swim and all around are amazing birds and beautiful flowers and the ancient trees of the rain forest. Management is perpetual lovely, advantageous and ready to yield great information on the surroundings. There is a immense variety of birds visiting the park for the nature enthusiasts. Helpful and sociable management ensured we had the superior place for our camper van, provided advice on a good itinerary taking trivial back roads and suggesting brilliant spots to terminate off on our way to our next destination. And local fresh produce. The grounds were lovely and next time we'll be booking ahead to stay for longer. Facilities were clean and funky loved the retro feel of the bathrooms delight don't renovate and go new and Micky tacky! There is a large kitchen sheltered from the often heavy rain. Another bonus to total to your drifting needs is that there are always people to guide you to the after camping spot. The owners are pretty and beneficial people eternal having time for a chat. Lots of backpackers find their way to this peaceful deposit and Lake Eacham itself is only 20 minutes’ walk away. Not that big, but comfortable and well equipped overall good value. We had a stuffed introduction to the not to be missed spots in the area and all the support we needed.
