Chambers wildlife rainforest lodges are fully self-contained holiday lodges hidden in 1, cool, 200 acres of lush, highland rainforest bordering lake eacham national park on the atherton tablelands. Experience excellent birdwatching from the verandah of you lodge. An illuminated wildlife viewing platform is available until 11.00 p.m. For guests to view sugar gliders, melomys, bandicoots, uromys, stripped possums, antechinus and other wildlife. Walk through the forest to the crystal clear waters of lake eacham to swim, barbecue and relax around the ancient volcanic crater lake.every evening there is rainforest kangaroo viewing and wildlife commentary. Experience excellent bird and wildlife viewing in a private, peaceful and serene rainforest setting. Common sightings include: victoria rifle birds, whipbirds and a great many other bird species, fruit pigeons, parrots, orange-footed jungle fowls, grey-headed robins, tooth-billed bower birds, spotted cat birds, while red boobooks and lesser sooty owls can be heard at night.
